Like really this is exactly what i mean. People assuming the console is loosing momentum in 2018 is only because there was no big games on the horizon nor announced for the year (that we actually had something to look foward too like gameplay or something).
The Switch is in the post launch year phase rn, devs that got devs kits will most likely release games starting end of 2018/2019 and most of teams from Nintendo didn't release anything on Switch yet that is brand new. Switch is grabbing the gamer market by the end with games like Zelda/Odyssey, upcoming Smash/Pokémon/Metroid/Bayonetta games and will also take upon the casual market with Labo and all the INSANE marketing they will receive from the Universal theme parks AND movies.

There is probably more stuff that Nintendo is working on right now that we have no idea about like a Netflix series of Splatoon or whatever. Also don't forget about China :p

What does he mean by platform line? Isn't PlayStation a platform line?

Well deserved! What a turn around from the Wii U. The dark days have come to an end.

Hopefully Nintendo can keep up the Momentum.

Well to him maybe but i'm not going this crazy but i do believe it can outsell the Wii and the PS1 if Nintendo doesn't fuck this up.
