We're like almost 3 weeks away from Spider-Man, I imagine it has something to do with that.

I'm wondering if the massive decline and then bounce back will be reflected in actual numbers, or if rather it's just due to some anomaly that's had a large affect on this tool. Did sales really drop and then rise so much, or is it just numbers on specific sites that show a massive affect on the tool but won't on actual sales.

I guess we should fine out soon with July NPD if the drop was accurate or not.

PS4 Slim being back on Amazon and PS4 Pro being back on Gamestop would be the two main reasons.

This is indeed the big question. I am confident about NS being first in July but I think the gap with the PS4 might be less than what is shown here. 

We had a period with PS4 pro being totally unavailable online (at least for the 3 retailers tracked here) and I don't think this was the case (at least not to a huge extent) in brick and mortar shops. On the other hand, the slim was not doing so hot (while being available) during this period. This situation is a first for the tool so we will see.

Yeah, what with the special PS4 this month, the Spiderman PS4... next two months going to be big for Sony, perhaps thats why they were struggling with stock.
