I'm gonna say it'll end up with a 72.
JRPGfan said: I dont expect much from Sea of theives... Im going to go with a 74. My issue: - zero character progression system. - 3 mosnter types? (skeletions, sharks, kraken?) - limited quest variety? I dunno... just doesnt seem like it ll hold peoples attention for long. I give it 2 month's and half its player base will be gone. |
-There's a progression system. 3 companies that offer different type of quest. You have to reach max level of 50 on all companies. The beta tool me 5 hours to reach level 22 on 1 so roughly 30ish hours to reach 50 on all 3. When you reach the max level you become a pirate legend and get access to a special hideout with special quests.
- There are different types of Skeleton varients. There's the one that needs water to slow them down the captain skeleton, the skeletons with the guns etc.
- There are quest with maps, riddles, bottle quest, animal hunting quest, skeleton hunting quest.
It will move more than 10m units.
87 Meta.
Yep, reviewers got it a bit early. I could play it yesterday afternoon when it still hadn't officially launched in the US (I'm doing the review for vgchartz). I was playing with New Zealand players lol.
I'm gonna go with 86. I hope it hits at least mid-80's, but I wonder if many reviews will suggest that it's initially awesome but grows stale quickly.

‘User Reviews’ Meaning people who don’t own the game can write anything. It just translates to console wars because Xbox is an easy target. |
Early user reviews are almost always trolls, especially when it comes to console exclusives... that, or fanboys trying to combat those trolls lol
