It will flop eventually but a bit of sticky tape should fix it.

Actually, we call that stuff duct tape.  It's grey in color and works wonders fixing busted cardboard.

There is also gorilla tape, a derivative of grey duct tape and that is usually black in color.

Bottom line, anyone's Labo creation will need a lot of duct tape in order to keep on playing over the course of time.

Because we all know how destructive these kids are nowadays...

I think some of these preview discussions should give an idea of what Labo could do on the market that hasn’t been mentioned already, even by Nintendo.

Can I request that if you're going to post a sales prediction that you state the format that you are predicting? Labo is very odd in that it will be composed of multiple kits, so are people honestly thinking that the variety kit and robot kit will sell ~2 million copies each? Because holy shit that would be far, far beyond my expectations. Or are people saying that they'll sell a combined 2 million copies?

Please clarify your prediction as otherwise it's meaningless.

I'll go with 900,000 for the variety kit and 500,000 for the robot kit by the end of 2018.

Is 1M a flop?

Would 1 or 2 million really be a flop though? I can't see it costing much to develop/produce so that should be a pretty nice profit if it can sell that well.

Yeah.  The problem with this whole discussion is that we don't have a definition of "flop".  This is a new type of product, so there's no basis for comparison.  So, unless Ninty says something, we're not going to know.

100% This. I've seen that kind of childish mentality far too often. So many insecure people out there

I'm kinda glad to have time with friends that are actually willing to try these games (Like Kirby for example).

Local Multiplayer is fun !

Though, yeah there's so many people insecured about their adultness and just trying to fit into the patriarchal model of our society that they will never be able to know what could be fun if they actually tried than just following trends. Social desirability mainly

can i ask why you quoted my post in your sig.

In what reality 2M is a Flop?

Flop? I don’t know about that, but I don’t think it’s going to be nearly as successful as some believe. I’m gonna say all kits together will sell around 3 - 4 million, LT.

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

At first glance, this seems like a bold claim but then when you realize it's an extremely polarized product, then it becomes a 50/50 thing. I think either it's going to be widely popular or yes, a total bomb. I don't see wiggle room for any other scenario.

Is Kirby flopping yet?
