Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Getting a Nintendo Switch + Zelda tomorrow..

Finally i collected enough money to buy one which wasn't easy because of all the exclusives and other games that came recently for PS4 not to mention how many more are yet to come this year. I can finally have a dream team of PS4 Pro and the Switch.

So Nintendo Switch owners and those who played the new Zelda can you help me out a little ?

Is there anything i should know about the console ? should i even buy it ? got any tips for me.. what are the pros and cons of the console ?

What about the Breath of the Wild is it amazing as the reviews say ? to me it looks epic and i can't wait to play it.

I think it is worthwhile purchase and the game you decided on is excellent

Dont forget to buy Xenoblade Chronicles 2 too.Its amazing and I personally think its better than Zelda.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Oh boy Xenoblade Chronicles 2.. i was thinking on making another thread just for this. I played the very first one and i got pretty far but never finished it.. i  really loved the game especially the soundtrack. But this new one seems like it's not nearly as good as the first one judging by the reviews and some things i read from other players. Apparently it has very frustrating  mechanics which is a big turn off for me. :/

Launch price 399.99 CAD. Wish it was 100 dollar CAD cheaper but I like the device.

A Switch purchase is not complete without Vroom in the Night Sky.

Awesome, I'm a PS4 Pro + Switch owner, and they complement each other quite well.

Some things:

- Although the Joy-Cons are very nice, I think the Pro Controller is a worthy investment. In my opinion, it's the highest quality controller Nintendo has ever made.

- Breath of the Wild is beyond amazing. I can't say enough good things about it; you will be amazed at how much time and work went into making this the perfect experience. As for the DLC, I haven't played either of them yet, although I'm going to start a new playthrough soon and get them both. If I was in your position, I would probably get the DLC from the start.

- Zelda is an amazing experience. You are in for a real treat. You should consider taking off a day or two from work. You will enjoy yourself much more and be able to truly immerse yourself in the game without having to worry about your day-to-day obligations.

@Nautilus:
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is great, yeah, but you may be overwhelmed if you get this and Zelda at the same time. I would recommend something like Stardew Valley or Sonic Mania.
