I think with the 2 Avengers movies this should be possible.

not a bold prediction anyway

Well seeing how Infinity war will probably make it into the 2 billion dollar club and probably the other Avengers movie too, it's pretty much a given. Just depends on how strong Avengers are doing and if Ant-man and Captain Marvel don't do too low.

Ant-man is probably the only movie going to be in the 600 million club, the others I'd say will range from 800 million to 2 billion sooo I can see it happening.

Around the Network

Ant-Man grossed $500M and I would expect Captain Marvel being a bit of an unknown will be similar. The movies might benefit from the strengthening Marvel brand and reach 700M though. If the Avengers movies are well received they should cruise past 1.5B each. My bet is on it making the 1B average, but I don’t think it is guaranteed.

I never thought about this, but yeah! Captain America and Black Panther have already hit 1 billion, both the avengers movies are guaranteed to hit that point, Captain Marvel will do well, I figure ant Man will do better than its predecessor, and yeah!

Strange to think that Doctor Strange - a wonderful film with great characters and some of the most interesting and unique visuals of the past decade - is going to be the lone film bringing the whole endeavor down.

Lone film? It's not the only MCU Phase 3 movie to not reach $1 billion you know.

Semantics. Yes, the billion dollar mark means that anything under 1 billion is going to technically bring that down...but I should have said 'significantly' bringing it down.

Of course it will. This isn't DC and WB :P (That would moreso be a bold prediction lol)

Especially since Justice League is now the lowest grossing DCEU movie. XD

That's the real killer.  Logically, Justice League should have been the most successful movie.  Marvel just knew how to do it right so that when an Avengers movie comes out its just massive.

I'm surprised DC/WB is still continuing with this.  Just feel like the damage is done and nothing can make it better.  They should just save their time and money, scrap and reboot it again like they did with Green Lantern.
