I personally really liked the 20º Direct and the 16º. I kinda dislike the older ones, the format they used was awful and the repeated announcements (Pikmin3 was showed in 7 directs in a row!) but for me the 18º takes the cake.

I really liked Directs 16, 20, and 21 myself; 16 and 21 are self-explanatory, and 20 made bananaking more ironic than a prostetic knee made out of iron.

Only direct I recall disliking was 12; too much 3DS focus when the Wii U needed it, and no release dates for the Wii U stuff.

The rest were just there for me.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

My personal favourite is direct #18. It's halfway between what directs are now and what they were in the Wii U era. Also the last direct with Reggie and Bill.

Directs 19-21 are solid as well, though.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Best for me would have been any of the BotW ones for me. Worst was probably the most recent direct where we had port central, however it was saved by Smash.

Don't get me wrong, many of these ports I want and even missed out on. However I was really looking forward to seeing some new, unannounced content as well.

I guess I will have to wait for E3 I suppose.

The best one was the January 2013 direct that was better than most e3 directs/presentations. The highlight being the first trailer of xenoblade x. Suprised that you didn't even mention this direct in your list.

Best Directs for content are 14, 15, and 19-21; as they have the most games I either liked or plan to buy.

My favourite from a stylistic standpoint was the one focused on Tomodachi Life. I think that was a mini though.

My least favourites were 4 and 7; there is not one thing I care about on them.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

The E3 Directs aren't on here?

#16, Cloud in Smash was a pretty big deal.

I tried to keep the list with mostly general directs, I also left out an 3DS one and that one before Wii U launched, that was made with an audience. But yeah looking back that direct in january was a very important one, I should've putted in.

I left those out too. Again, I tried to focused on regular directs.
