All that says is that PS4 gamers don't want to play Monster Boy.

I'll bet that Red Dead 2 sells 5,000,000 times more on PS4.

Could happen since everything is getting ported over :p

Looks a fairly basic platformer that could probably have been achieved back in the ps1/saturn era albeit at lower resolution. Given a choice between playing it on ps4 and having the freedom to play it on a portable or at home the Switch seems the better option for sure. Can't imagine anything is lost between the ps4 and Switch versions looks well below what both consoles are capable of.

I doubt it but that's my point. RDR's target demographic isn't a typical Nintendo player.

Mario plus rabbids isn't really a good example of third party. I want to see a third party game selling 1 million on the switch without them slapping marios face on their product

Puyo puyo Tetris has reached 1 million on Switch I believe.

That could be said for any Indie game.

I'm not sure any would be fair but certainly a 2D platformer with fairly retro graphics for sure. Cuphead as a 2D shooter looks a bit more resource hungry and many indie games are full 3D games too.

I guess that is my point though indie games like this are simply better on the Switch you can play them at the home for the full experience or as a portable game. One purchase price gets both experiences. It adds value to the Switch versions.

So it won't surprise me if we see this pre-order pattern repeated for many indie titles unless its a title that makes better use of the ps4's more powerful hardware.
