Forums - Politics Discussion - Is Russia closer to causing a massive War than North Korea or even the United States?

You know that the US does missile tests too? This is not unique to Russia. It's also confusing when you talk about nuclear development, yet forget the core ideology of MAD: if they were to ever go at war it'd be disastrous.

The big difference is that the US isn't trying to get us all killed, whereas Putin is, which is why Putin must die.

Question, is this you? =P

No it's not, and Putin is a sociopathic warmonger who must die, so kill him before we all die because of him.

Yes, he is a sociopathic warmonger, but he does not want to kill everyone, he wants to maintain his sphere of influence.

To do that he'd have to nuke North America, so he needs to die.

His sphere of influence is not North America though, from the looks of it he considers it to be the former USSR, so the loss of Ukraine in its sphere has caused him to become more overt in his attempts to maintain control.

He'll want North America next, so kill him before he gets the chance. Russia's so-called democratic elections have shown that voting him out won't work, so kill him instead.

Absurd and unrealistic conclusion.

I tweeted US President Trump with what you've been saying, and you'll be pleased to note that you have his support!

Before Hitler invaded Poland, he took a piece of it with Danzig. He annexed Austria, he took a piece of Checkoslovakia arguing that it should be german because the sudet germans lived there.

Seems familliar to what is going on with Ukraine?

Sorry for Necroing the thread, but I just thought it would be interesting for people to see this discussion again in light of recent events.

And, uh. Not to brag or anything, but seems I was pretty accurate.

If American leadership remains like it is presently, especially beyond 2024, then in today's world of anything could truly happen, this just could be a possibility.

Yeah, some of the peoples responses in this thread defo didnt age well (Meanly the ones that was in support of russia.

Context is everything.

This thread was made, after some russian agents made a assassination attempt, on foregin soil.
I rightly pointed out, that other nations (usa included) do the same.
And that I didnt see how that would point towards russia causeing a massive war.

And yes, US has long reguarded russia as some boogy-man.
(granted this war, is showing that they are, some cold heartless bastards.... bombing civilians for no reason, hospitals, kindergardens, schools ect).

Doesnt change the fact that , this necrobump is silly.

Its like a broken clock thats right twice a day.

This was a oddball shot in the dark, and it just happend to pass.
The necrobumping thus is odd (its not logic based, its just a random guess, type thing, based on bias.... which turned out to happend years later).

I actually like Canada now because the worst politicians in Europe got all anal-shredded over Trudeau… doing something? I’m not sure what it is and I don’t think they do either. All I know is if the fascists hate him, he’s doing something right.

No it was not an oddball shot.

Russia's actions since 2014 were eerily similar to pre-WW2 Germany. It only takes reading some history and understanding the general behavior of facistic countries to connect the dots.
