I think I forgot to say I got Cadence of Hyrule. Um, might as well go over my whole collection now to make sure nothing was skipped.

I own:

Astral Chain
Cadence of Hyrule
Mario Kart 8
Splatoon 2
Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Party
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

And 13 third-party games, one of which is Starlink (not sure if it counts here).

Breath of the Wild is physical, everything else is digital.

Starlink is third party. The game is available on other consoles, so it's clearly in the category of third party game with exclusive first party content where Nintendo's rights don't extend beyond their own IP. In the past other such examples were Soul Calibur II for GameCube and Skylanders Something on Wii. In contrast to that you have Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle where Nintendo's copyrights extend to the game itself. It's self-evident that Ubisoft can't port Mario to another console, but Nintendo's rights also mean that Ubisoft cannot replace all of the Mario IP with some of their own IP and sell the same game that way on another console. That's the difference between a proper collaboration like Mario + Rabbids and a third party game with exclusive first party content like Starlink where Ubisoft can release the game on other consoles as long as it doesn't feature any Nintendo content.

I'll wrap up October either today or tomorrow, so the summary is coming later than usual this month, but it's coming.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.
