I don't think you updated properly. Did you see my last update? Three digital only games.

It's not properly updated, because I didn't update at all since November 17th. An update is bound to happen later this week, because a new month starts.

I haven't done frequent updates in a while, because the level of activity has been low in recent months. It has been common that I only did two updates a month, so people had their posts pending for around two weeks. Things have picked up lately, so I might work on the spreadsheet every weekend.

Just so that it is crystal clear, the lack of updates is not because the spreadsheet is too much work, rather it's because there has been so little work for months that I couldn't be bothered to load the spreadsheet for only a couple of minutes of work at a time.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I’ve just bought three more 3rd party games, all digital.

First Party Titles: 12

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Splatoon 2
Splatoon 2 - Octo Expansion
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Super Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Torna - The Golden Country
Mario Tennis Aces
Super Mario Party
NES - Nintendo Switch Online
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Third-Party Titles: 7

also some free downloadable titles and demos, but nothing worth noting

Rol,

I need to update my list of 3rd parties. I’m at 23 physical and 18 digital.

This is what my spreadsheet has about you:

Vs. Super Mario Bros. (D)
Breath of the Wild (P)
Mario Kart 8 (P)
Splatoon 2 (P)
Super Mario Odyssey (D)
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (D)

10 third party games; 1 physical, 9 digital.

That raises the question how your amount of third party games could decrease, because digital games can't be sold. You've probably not noted whether your third party games were physical or digital in one of your previous posts, and in that case I add them as digital titles. But in reality they could be physical games and you sold a few of them. Clarification is appreciated.

As for your first party games, here's some clarification from my side. I do not count DLC as its own game, so Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion doesn't count. However, Torna is a special case because it was released as standalone game, so I count it as its own game. Nintendo Switch Online doesn't count as game ownership because it's a rental; games can only be played for as long people are subscribed to the service.

The numbers are at 25 and 17 now, so I hope that means you sold two physical games and bought another digital one. Otherwise there has been a mistake on my end or your end somewhere. Ultimately, that's a matter of my own curiosity though, so you don't need to answer. I'll change the figures to 23 and 18 in any case.

What I do need an answer for are your first party totals. While doing the latest update, I've noticed that I hadn't entered your Pikachu game in the column of the Pokémon games during the previous update, but I am not sure if I had previously overlooked that post of yours altogether or if I only forgot to add said game to the Pokémon column. So is it 18 physical/1 digital first party games or 19/1?

those would be the free downloadable titles, of which i dont really consider 'owning' since no money was spent and they were all uninstalled

The mistake is mine, I’ve made a small recount of my actual library and while I’ve added one new game in the total I gave you, I remembered I added one game and did a refund in the same week, but forgot to inform you to make the change. Which is basically why I’m doing this update.

I’m good on the first, your spreadsheet is still up to date. So keep the good work !

Super Mario Party (D)

Two more digital third party games for me (R-Type Dimensions EX and Riptide GP Renegade).

Gameplay > Graphics

Substance > Style

Art Direction > Realism

For me, one more digital third party game.
