I played it at launch and i stand by it. Like i said i was never a fan of pre rendered backgrounds. Characters looked so out of place even on release. I dont need to be bias on a game i love. If you know me you would know i speak my mind. FF7 had poor visuals to me everything else was amazing hence why its the best JRPG iv ever played. Visuals matter to an extent especially when N64, PC and SNES set my standards high.

I kind of burnt myself out on gaming right now. Recently, I have been

I can agree with this. I don't get Teddie hate; he's a great character overall, even taking into account his aggravating or annoying instances.

From the people mentioned here, I too agree with Tidus, Squall and MGS2 Raiden.

He's not my "favourite" in any stretch of the word, but Henry Townshend gets so much undeserved hate at times.

Ashley Graham from RE4 is underappreciated.

Micaiah from Radiant Dawn. Most hate her either because she's seen as a Mary Sue (which she clearly isn't) or because she's such an unusual combatant for a lord with her cast from hitpoints healing. I think she's a great character with great writing, showing how someone can go from being innocent and naive to a more hardened personality. And if you know how to use her, she's actually pretty good as lord.

I honestly didn't know people disliked Micaiah before this thread. The more you know...

I agree she was a good MC overall, though I feel her role in Part 3 probably hurt her in some fans' eyes. When Ike basically takes over and their clash happens, it's hard to see their goals as equally relatable. One side is fighting for racial equality and justice, the other is fighting to buy time for a king that didn't read the fine print. On top of that, most of her appearances in Part 3 are as an enemy, so as a player you're inclined to want to see her ultimately lose to resolve the situation, which probably hurts her cause. Even if her stance is reasonable, it basically feels like that game is less about wanting either side to win as much as Ike winning vs. Keep Ike from winning as long as possible.
