I think main point is here ex Wii U owners, because for all people (and Switch already passed Wii U LT install base few months ago) that didn't had Switch lineup is quite good.

I don't care whether other people are satisfied with a lineup of regurgitated leftovers from 2014. I'm not satisfied.

I updated my last post. I understand you and for me personaly like ex Wii U owner a Wii U ports personaly dont mean much for me, but I talking about bigger picture that includes all those people that bouth or will buy Switch and didn't had Wii U (so we talking about huge majority of Switch buyears), for them current Switch lineup is quite good.

I understand that, but that doesn't do anything for me personally. I mean, other people not having experienced Captain Toad or Tropical Freeze doesn't change the fact that I played them to death years ago. All I'm saying is for me the lineup isn't appealing.

Just know that you don't have to consume, I know that these days people may feel obligated to continue buying and purchasing but don't let yourself be taken over by your Nintendo fan identity, the self is important.

So some of you guys are telling me none of these games below interest you in the slightest:

- South Park: Fractured But Whole
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
- Dark Souls: Remastered
- Mario Tennis Aces
- Crash Bandicoot: N'sane Trilogy
- Octopath Traveler
- Okami HD
- Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion
- Super Smash Bros. for Switch
- Hollow Knight
- Inside
- Undertale
- Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
- Valkyria Chronicles 4
- Little Nightmares: Complete Edition
- The World Ends With You: Final Remix
- Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
- Dead Cells
- Mega Man 11
- Wolfenstein 2
- Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Expansion
- Pillars of Eternity 2

This alone is far better than any year of the Wii U. And more third party games will undoubtly come like the new Sonic racing game that is heavily rumoured.

There are two basic types of Nintendo fans: the kind like you, who get excited by strong lineups when Nintendo is doing great - and then those who are only ever happy when Nintendo is downtrodden and failing - they will defend a bad game on Gamecube or Wii U to the death; but then completely ignore a list of 20+ good games on the Switch.

Ironically, the second group is most concerned about Nintendo’s well being when they are having tremendous success; and will make a lot of “DOOOOOM!!!!” posts during these times. We saw all of these types during the Wii and DS era; they’re not going to be happy unless they can defend a failing Nintendo because they enjoy being victims. They can’t enjoy Nintendo during successful time periods. They’re addicted to negativity/conflict.

Also, it’s kind of a pretentious/hipster culture thing to downplay successful things (pretend like they’re terrible) and play up things that are failing/unsuccessful (pretend they’re a lot better than they really are).

So when you post a list like that:

Group B Nintendo will find problems with every game on that list or reasons to write them off, and pretend like it is all that will ever be released on the console. But even if the games were more numerous and the biggest possible IPs, it wouldn’t matter: Breath of the Wild 2, Final Fantasy 7 remake, GTA 6, and Super Mario Galaxy 3 - since Switch is successful, if they were announced, group B would still be morbidly depressed over the lineup. There’s basically no pleasing them unless Nintendo is failing at the time.

Whereas you’re group A, you see more logically, and love that lineup. In addition, you likely are looking forward to what other games they will announce through the year.

Dude. No one said they are doomed. I said the line up is not for me. Am i talking Arabic or something?

I will agree with you that the spring and summer lineup looks somewhat boring for me (minus Octapath, looking forward to that game). Not interested in Kirby, Mario Tennis, Hyrule Warriors, Dark Souls etc. The only games that somewhat interest me are Donkey Kong, Street Fighter 30th anniversary edition and Ys. But don't know if I will buy them. I'm planning to start going back to strategy gaming on my PC after I do some more post game stuff on Xenoblade 2. But I will be back when Octopath drops in July.

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

It's slightly underwhelming for me, as a Wii u owner but i'm still content with what is on offer. Didn't have DK on the Wii u but still not sure if i particularly want it. Had HW and played to death but not the DLC. Would love to play as the cuccoo but not sure if i want to pay £40 or however much it is for the privilege. Mario tennis i definitely want. A few 3rd parties too. I have a backlog anyway so i'm sure i can hold out until June. I would have preferred the Warioware game had been for Switch. Captain Toad was probably the port that broke the camels' back, so to speak. Anyway, Smash saved that direct for me personally.

TLDR:- As a wii u owner i'm content with what's coming but i can see why other Wii u owners are dissatisfied by the ports, which are perhaps becoming too numerous. As long as there are good, new games coming too, i see no problems though.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Oh I'm not; I know some will buy games they're not really into just cos there is nothing else on offer, or because it's the latest Nintendo game, but I certainly won't be doing that. It is a bummer though, as a gamer I do crave new and exciting games, and barring a ton of awesome 2018 titles being revealed at E3, it looks like this year could be worse than most years of the Wii U for me.

Maybe your interest in gaming isn't as high as it was before though.

My interest in gaming has not changed, there are simply fewer new releases worth my time and money coming out.
