Switch should outsell both XB1 and PS4. XB1 is behind PS4 and the PS4 is kind of weak in the US compared to other generation lead consoles.
XBO will probably end up with 30-33m in the US so Switch could do it would probably take 4-6 years.

Yeah, I took that 5-week thing into account. Even when you times the estimated number by 0.8x, you're still 19% higher than any other Janruary.

Again, I actually agree that Switch will overtake Xbox (and even PS4).

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Switch will not slow down any time soon. The sheer amount of system selling games being released will see to that. That's before you consider price drops to keep up good momentum and Nintendo's ability to appeal to a broad market.

We'll see. people were saying the same thing with 3ds, wait till pokemon and animal crossing, after it was doing amazing its first 2 years.

The thing is... Switch is easily outselling 3DS in NA launch aligned. Keep in mind 3DS' first year was already its best there too. You can't really compared them... 3DS' stronghold was Japan.

It's not a given and he's entitled to his opinion. Do we have to have every Nintendo thread being a circle jerk. It's not like he's being unreasonable with his opinion .

Who is he? I'm not meantioning anyone, but rather Sony fans as a group (who are always negative about Nintendo, at least on this forum).
