Cuphead and Ori are big Xbox hits, fyi.  Do you have a source that Xbox users are ‘hit or miss’ with platformers?  Also, I’ve never purchased a sports game and I don’t see many of my friend’s feeds buy them either.  Got a source for your claim there too?

Just look at the sales for Xbox One games on this site. I figure that on a sales website, you would be able to easily access sales numbers.
Cuphead and Ori are exceptions to the rule. I never said that every platformer crashes and burns on the Xbox. It is common knowledge that platformers are far more successful on both Sony and Nintendo consoles. You and your friends do not account for the majority of Xbox users, your example is purely anecdotal and does not account for the multitude of Xbox users.

A quick Google search outside of this website and surely you will find that platformers, for the most part, are not usually big on Xbox consoles. Better yet, just look at the sales on this website.

I would not call those exception to the rule. The xbox has had almost nothing of worthwhile exclusive content, they where hungry and that's all they had.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Well, that coverage at the Nintendo Direct with over 500k viewers on the YT stream + another 500k on other platforms must of definitely shed light on the game among the Nintendo crowd.

It's released in July, a rather stacked month for Switch software, but it should hold on its own. Nintendo is renown for their platforming games (Mario, DK, Kirby, Yoshi...) so while this game is harder than their average platformers, it's still a genre that is most popular with the Nintendo crowd. I feel like this game will sell really well, at least 1 million units honestly. It's such a perfect fit. Meanwhile, I see the Xbone version doing half of whatever the Switch one does.

NSW, the thread.

This is one of those games that if I have to choose between the xbox and switch version, I would choose the switch version. This game is perfect for handheld mode.

im going to say yes. that game fits the nintendo audience more than xbox's

I have high hopes for Crash on Switch being a 1 million+ seller over it's lifetime.

there is a massive thing to consider in this still though, how it performs on the Switch, if they take the same time and care that went into Yooka Laylee on the Switch version then you'll see sales fly on Nintendos brand, but if it gets something like WWE2k18 treatment, then of course the sales will have to reflect that.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Switch. Portable and audience is more into platformers. Although dont think yooka laylee did particularly well on Switch so who knows

It will obviously sell better on Switch

All games without ultra graphics will sell better on the switch.
