In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

I have been holding on buying specifics games that were announced today because at the time of release I didn’t had the budget or because my time was limited. The Switch portable aspect has gave me more time to play in the last year than my total play time on PS4 and XB1, so it might be ports, but I can now enjoy them when it was not possible before.
I think that’s the main reasons why some people don’t care for ports and liked this direct, like I did.
Till end of July, there’s enough content for me to last till 2019.

I totally agree. The main reason I watch each direct is to hopefully hear FE info!
Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).
Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

-Noticeably, there were no new game announcements at the Direct besides Smash. We got ports. -1
-No Yoshi or FE info...strange.
-Wasted so much time on Mario Tennis. Teaching us about the game's mechanics should've been an extended trailer posted on YT after the Direct. Just show us the new content -1
Ok, so this is what I think: this Direct was to inform us about Q2 games + July. There were other 2018 TBA dates here and there like Okami, Undertale and Smash. Just icing on the cake I suppose. If this was what Nintendo was trying to achieve, they succeeded
So:
April: Labo, South Park
May: Hyrule Warriors DE, Tropical Freeze, Dark Souls, Little Nightmares
June: Mario Tennis, Sushi Strikers (I guess?)
July: Octopath, Captain Toad, Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy
I think this is acceptable. We need more games for June, otherwise, this is alright.
E3 will inform us about Q3 beyond July, Q4 and 2019.
So far we have 2018 TBA: Travis Strikes Again, Smash for Switch, Mega Man 11, Blade Strangers, Yoshi, Fire Emblem and Bloodstained (interestingly, these are new games as well)
TBA in general: Pokemon, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, SMT 5

Thats a given, you don't need to believe, only big announcement was Smash Bros. :)

That does make sense. I do know for some of the folks...the owned the games on Wii U. But that really doesn't matter. I've been holding back from buying certain games like Toad's Adventure and...gulp...Splatoon. I finally picked up Splatoon 2 for the Switch. SUPER AWESOME game.
Oh and I agree about having enough games already to start 2018 til finish. This isn't even E3 and its already hype. Nintendo really kicked it up. They're not playing around with these games at all. I'm very impressed and I'm a very proud Switch owner.

Also one interesting note, huge majority of games from Direct are releasing in next 3-4 monts, that means that we yet to start having announcements for second half of 2018.
Yoshi goes to being irrelevant again. Seriously that game shows up, disappears for months,then reappears randomly again
