The only thing missing that would have made this a perfect 10 for me was Persona 5.

9 for me :

-No more Heroes : Travis strikes again in details (y'all it's a sequel but they mainly showed mini games)
-Octopath Traveler getting details + date
-Mario Tennis Aces, Mario tennis is finally good again. Game looks really polished.
-New Content for splatoon 2, looks really good and some nice challenge and 80 stages jesus + Lore!
- SMASSSHHHH and it's a new game. Title is diffenrent, they would have said it if it was just a port, Sakurai confirmed he has been working on this secretly for long time and there is the "title pending" so LOOK.. of course it will be made with Wii U assets but with new characters and probably mostly new stages and modes. I hope a revamp of the menu AND A STORY MODE.
-Okami HD
-Undertale

Nintendo has so much saved for E3 tho.. We know planning up till end of July. I believe Yoshi will be the August title.

So for E3 we will have :

-Fall + Holiday planning
-Fire Emblem reveal
-Metroid Prime 4
-Info on online features + updates i believe
-VC ?
-Details on smash
-Pikmin 4 ???? where u at
- Pokémon ?

Anyways, we are in for a treat.

I didn't watch it but it looks like a lot of announcements were made. A lot of good first party and plenty of third party support. solid 8.5

Don't forget Retro's new game... at least I hope.

If this was a 10/10 for some then I hope the Switch never gets full 3rd party support or else a few fans might actually die.

For me how I rate the Direct depends on whether Smash is a new game or an enhanced port. All of the announcements were good and the Switch release schedule through July looks packed, but all of it is either ports or stuff we knew about. Also, I am hugely disappointed in the lack of Fire Emblem.

I was actually disappointed when I realized the 'last thing' was Smash since I was sure it would be a port, but now I'm leaning towards it being a new game.

9/10 the smash announcement was awesome, and the rest of the direct was quite good.

I'd rate it 8/10. When it comes to ports, Nintendo has a LOT of catching up to do in terms of 3rd party. There's about 20 years worth of franchises Nintendo's missed out on, so I see this port bomb as making up for lost time. Might be a better way to ease a lot of Nintendo fans into actually buying more 3rd party than just throwing a bunch of shit at the wall like with Wii U. Hopefully we eventually get the mainstream stuff like COD, but for now we're getting the kind of games I like, so I'm fine with it.

Would've given it a 9 if we actually did get all that stuff, though. And a 10 if they gave us more info about the online and VC without it being too much of a scam.  At least I didn't have to dock a few points for wasting time with Labo, though.

There was no Animal Crossing, Yoshi, nor Fire Emblem so it was very disappointing.
