I wonder how long the Switch can hold >50% marketshare.

It really is starting to dominate the Japanese market, even with apparent supply issues.

Switch certainly dominated Japan last year, but the same cannot be said this year. Pretty sure PS4 is still way up in terms of YTD Japan sales.

Kirby is releasing soon, so 50k+ for Switch are a given. So far every important release went hand in hand with higher hardware shipments.

True, what I mean is... I hope it stays above 50k. I think it has a good shot if stock doesn’t come in the way.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

If it wasn't for the Switch version for Dragon Quest XI being announced, I would say Splatoon 2 could outsell Dragon Quest XI combined. Who knows though maybe it has a shot at 5 million as the Switch install base increases.
