Forums - PC Discussion - Your favorite PC games 2013-Present

Like the title says on the tin, what are your favorite games from the year 2013 to the current year? (2018).

My original pick would have been Minecraft, but that game was released way before 2013, and I was also playing it during late 2010, so the next pick would have to go to Starbound, simply because it was a blend of Minecraft meet Terria, but in outer space and with an actual story.

I played it during it's early beta stage back in late 2013, and played it throughout the years, even when it reached completion back in 2016. The game is still getting content updates this year, so I'll no doubt be hopping back into the game again.

I haven't played many, but I did like Undertale.

PC gaming after 2013... By that point, most of my favourite PC games of all time had been released in one way or another (Age of Empires II, Skyrim, Unreal Tournament 2003/4, GTA Vice City...). The best games post 2013 I can think of are Doom, the Danganronpa games and Cuphead. I need to play more modern PC games.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

AoE II HD was actually released during April 2013, so you can still technically add that to the list

There are all sorts out there to play on PC. I'm personally looking forward to Wolcen:

Since Blizzard clearly doesn't care about Diablo anymore, I can see Wolcen taking the top spot for being an ARPG once it completes it's early access phase.

Probably any number of Metroidvanias like Hollow Knight, Alwa's Awakening, Valdis Story, etc.

Star Citizen will likely be up there as well, whenever it releases.

Overwatch, Cuphead, and the Danganronpa series.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

That's really tough one, i never owned many Steam games or even played them for a while since i moved to GOG, at least just a few.

So, that would be: Alien Isolation, Shadow Warrior 2013, Tomb Raider 2013, Doom 2016, Wolfenstein the New Order and Overwatch.

Grim Dawn takes the top spot easily, with Cities: Skylines, Rocket League being other particularly notable titles. Metal Gear Solid V and Civilization VI also deserve a mention. I'll also be surprised if Total War: Three Kingdoms doesn't take a spot on my list later this year when it gets released.

The Sims 3 and 4.

Overwatch, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Company of Heroes 2, Civilization V.
I would like to mention Homeworld Remastered but probably shouldn't for obvious reasons.
