I wonder. If guns truly are meant to rise against a tyrannical governement, why the fuck did nobody rise against Ajit Pai and his idiocy? His stupidity would cause severe damage to one facet of freedom of all US citizens and might even affect the rest of the world as well. Yet nobody stood up against him. So is it all talk and nothing more?

Please do not interpret this as me saying someone should threaten that guy. That's not what I mean.

Could be because the majority of gun nuts can't even spell "internet".

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Arming teachers will just result in more deaths. Either by teachers going crazy or by some crazy kid robbing the teachers gun and going crazy.

See, this is why you need more guns. If every student had one then they could stop that crazy kid or teacher.

The problem I see in the 2nd amendment stance is that those who are for having semi-automatic or even fully-automatic weapons claim that it should be the right of the people to rise against a tyrannical government. Problem is though, what if those who rise up are the tyrannical ones! I mentioned in another thread the example from the Civil War in the US.

There was a situation similar to this.

Stalin, ZeDong and Hitler did definitely rise up, and took away guns from citizens as soon as they could.

Exactly and you don´t have any use of a 2nd amendment in those cases.

Yeah after some crazy teacher kills his whole class the solution will be to arm the kids.

Reminds of the Simpsons episode where he gets addicted to his gun.

You make the exact point I do. The right to bear a band aid for a mortal wound.

Crowders Prove me wrong, goes into detail about government tyranny...it's like...are you serious?

Matter of fact... here's 10 automatics. Let's see what they'll do to a squadron of F-18s.

Haha that's brilliant. Bravo.

Could you not insult pro-gun people right off the bat? I don't think you're interested in a conversation on this topic.
