Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is your favorite game of the current generation so far ?

For me it is both Breath of the Wild and Puyo Puyo Tetris. The first is easily the best single player game while the second is easily the best multiplayer.

Super Mario Odyssey

1. Shadow of the Colossus
2. Uncharted 4
3. The Last Guardian
4. Tekken 7
5. Horizon

Edit: And wowww there are a ***t-ton Zelda fans on this site. Nothing against some of the comments but imo they are extremely over-exaggerated. Even when OoT came out I beat it and enjoyed it I was ok with getting rid of my gold-edition copy and giving up the game for good. Zelda's are not my End-all-be-all kinda games. Hell no!

thats a tough question. Gen 8 (8.5) has been a very game changing generation, and has really broadened my taste in games. i suppose overall ive really enjoyed Stardew Valley more than anything else. its a refreshing take on the farming genre that combines elements of the classic Harvest Moon games with various new mechanics that fans have been requesting for years. i enjoyed every minute of this game and would not hesitate to play through the whole thing again.

Probably Grim Dawn (on PC). If we're counting only console games, Uncharted 4 takes the prize so far. I imagine there are games I would enjoy more, but I've missed them thus far.

Hard to pick between GR2 and Nier: Automata, both have been some of the most memorable gaming experiences.

TLOZBOTW by far and i have a PC with every big thirdparty game of this gen.

34 years playing games.

The Talos Principle.

Probably Super Mario Odyssey or Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Both games are so fantastic and I had a hard time putting both games down. Though, I wish I could add Binding of Issac to the list. I 1st bought it for the Switch and since then I keep coming back to it. Such a fun lil game.
