Just to be clear by "current" I mean PS4, Xbox One and Switch consoles.  And I know I will get a lot of hate for saying this but Ghost Recon Wildlands is my favorite game of the current gen so far..  this could obviously change in the future as we have many years left of this generation.

What is your favorite game or most enjoyable game of this gen ?

Probably either Monster Hunter World or Sonic Mania.

Dragon ball fighterz.

Breath of the Wild by a landslide.

Second Son, I find it very fun and enjoyable to play.

Call of Duty: WW2

This game got me hooked. I don't play anything else anymore since I got that game. I don't even want to play something else. After ignoring CoD for more than ten years, I decided to play the newest entry. And it made me remember why I loved the very first game so much. The gunplay is just in a league of its own. It just feels right, the game does exactly what you want it to do. Kinda the Super Mario of first person shooters. It may not be the prettiest game of the world, it may lack innovation and all, but the gameplay is fucking perfect.

I will play this game for some more months exclusively. Which also saves me a ton of money as I don't buy any new games anymore. I know the cool kids hate CoD by default and all, but screw you, I love this game!

Persona 5.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Gotto say this generation its between Forza Horizon 3, The Witcher 3 and Nier Automata for me, 3 games that just really hit that "Fun" factor.

I guess if I have to choose I would give it to The Witcher but its very close.

If the 3DS counts as part of the 8th gen, then Fire Emblem Awakening.

If not, probably Resident Evil 7.
