Debatable. I felt that Diablo 3 was heavily consolized... And thus lost allot of the charm that Diablo 2 had.
It fits well with the controllers, that's for sure.

I should probably get around to playing the expansion at some point, but it feels like a task. Haha

To be fair Diablo 3 runs at PS3/360 at 1120x584 resolution, saying that on Switch would probably run at least at 720p with more stable frame rate.

I bought D3 the day it released, because of how much I loved Diablo 2.
I played that for years (it felt like).
Diablo 3 only lasted like 2-3 months, and I was tired and done with it (so where almost everyone I knew that loved diablo 2 as well).

Ive since played alot of Path of Exile on and off, with the seasons they have there (a new one started like 2days ago).
Its sooooooo much better than Diablo 3 is, and its free to play, no reason to buy D3 in this day and age imo.

I pretty much made about $400 AUD from the Auction house in Diablo 3 which basically covered the cost of the game and bought me a new keyboard and mouse.

I just miss the customization of player stats/skill tree, fully randomized maps and so on that add variety. Blizzard simplified the game way to much.
I bought it day 1, because... Well. It was a Blizzard game.

1120x584 when you only have a Radeon x1900 class GPU and 512MB of Ram is damn impressive. The Switch should smash that with relative ease.
Heck, Diablo 3 will run fine on even an Athlon 64 X2 from 2005.
