The volunteers, who were participating in a government-funded education program, even got $8,000 in stipends from their native country to campaign for the popular Vermont senator in his 2016 run for the White House.

The FEC ruled that the Sanders campaign accepted about $25,000 in in-kind donations from the Australians. Bernie’s been ordered to fork over $14,500 in civil penalties for violating campaign law.

Yet more proof that foreign countries were out to stop Hillary. Russia, Australia.... who else wanted to stop her?

Not only should Bernie Sanders and his managers and friends should be investigated by the FBI, but so should everyone who volunteered for him. How do we know they didn't collude with Australia? I mean, a political party paying activists to come to the U.S. and work for a candidate's presidential campaign to me sounds a lot more significant than Facebook posts.

Also, sanctions on Australia when?

NO REFUNDS

Sanders will accept the penalty and move on, if he honestly understood that his campaign did something unlawful, he would simply comply

This really shouldn't come as a surprise. However, it should mentioned that most American allies wanted Hillary to win. She was the "safe" candidate who would have maintained the status quo. Most foreign intervention of American politics have come from individuals, not governments, though I'm sure governments do interfere in some way, shape or form. Though ironically, the biggest offender when comes to interfering in elections is the United States. It has been that way since the end of the Second World War.

Good guy Hillary trying to stop election meddling.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

This will be largely ignored by the leftist media.

It sounds like we just shouldn't care that people were colluding with outside sources, since all three are guilty of it and other countries are obviously going to want to support one candidate or another to one of the most important nations on earth.

ITT: People equating Australia and Russia. Really grasping at straws here, guys.

Where's Hillary's fines for rigging the primaries?

Politics is a farce in the US right now. Many people are considering Oprah, a talk show host to run? What a joke. I wouldn't worry about Russia, China or North Korea. You're imploding already....

Feel the Bern.
