Adding another 100k+ to the PS4's lead globally, not bad for a week's worth.

Oh snap look at that more HW numbers! SWEET!!!!! Keep'em coming and PS4 still holding strong with week 2 of MHW having an impact like that in Japan nice! Globally it is just doing amazing wow. Switch have a strong start for year 2 on the market! XB1 nice hold as well! Loving these numbers!

Japan centric game pushing sales in japan as expected.

Just wait till RDR2, GOW or Spiderman launches..... then it will be the other way round.

Despite being a huge Spider-Man fan, I don't see the PS4 Spider-man to sell consoles like God Of War or Red Dead would do

The Spider-Man brand is huge. It will sells millions to casuals alone.

Great for ps4 and great for NS. I'm not sure if Xbox numbers are bad or they just look bad compared to the other 2

It's doing well enough. It's up yoy. I seem to remember it floating around 50k in some of the weekly charts last year, with the Vita actually encroaching on it's territory a few times when it had strong weeks. Ha. They've had some crazy sales/deals/bundles lately, with fairly big price cuts and 1 or 2 free games. Not that that's new. The price has been temporarily slashed several times since launch. And then there's Game Pass. They've been very aggressive, and it's paid off enough to keep sales reasonably healthy.

Last year was horrible for X1 though and they have just released a new console. It would be disastrous if the sales would even be below that.

Oh yeah, As I expected the 3DS is slowly dying.

It is believed the dinosaurs probably died off about 30k years after the asteroid hit. Makes sense.

Dont be so sure, NPD said it had its best January since 2013 in the US.

Japan is down quite a bit from last year though.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I gues people are more interested in the Amazon charts positions than the numbers.

Will be interesting to see how well MHW will continue to push PS4 and what Bayonetta 1+2 can do against it in 2 weeks. It's doing very well right now and sales are staying high for a second week, but how long will the push be?

Also interesting that Europe is now bigger for the Switch, Christmas season really worked wonders for Switch in Europe, and the fact that in many countries the prices went down to ~US price (aka 299€, down from 329€ or even more in some regions) certainly helped a bit also.
