Butthurt? Is referencing something that's painfully ironic really being "butthurt"? No. I'm making light of the fact that you write comments like that and they're kind of hypocritical. Does every reference to a past event count as butthurt? 

I think what's more likely is that you just got mad at the thread because you're obviously defensive of Trump, didn't actually read anything anyone posted, and then just defended yourself by saying you were talking about some unknown force that never came to this thread. 

It's really sad that people are out here defending this shit just because of a party they identify with. You are obviously much smarter than this so you don't need to degrade yourself to this level. 

And again - considering people were mad when Hillary also said similar things it's odd you think this is an issue with SJWs. Even if they're going too far in their anger, who cares? This is a subject that very rightfully makes people angry. And since when have SJWs defended video games? I don't think it's a random coincidence that GTAV sales are still blooming, the most real-life violent video game is the best selling of all time, and kids seem to play it more than adults, from the people I know at least

they censored animation etc long ago, but that looks pretty pointless now, since video games are much more realistic, and violent videos are very accessible by kids

I said that alot of sjws are saying he wants to ban video games or regulate them heavily. It's just a convenient tool to try to turn everybody they can against him.  They don't care what the tool is.

I'm not defending him in the sense you mean. I just don't take everything he says literally because he's the type that doesn't always mean what he says. He likes to troll people for god's sake. He'll retweet a meme and cnn thinks he's promoting violence against the news. People forget this shit all the time and they take everything he says literally. 

He has a habit of placating his opposition or making it appear that he's willing to work with them by offering up something that he doesn't mean to do knowing that they won't take it or it's easy to do. He doesn't always do that. The only things he was serious about with the gun stuff is the bumpstocks, armed security at schools and maybe tightening gun laws pertaining to the mentally ill.

I brought it up because that is the general response in most places I've seen the topic. The conversation on it doesn't begin and end within this thread. This isn't the first time someone has brought up something from another forum and it's not a condemned practice in general. Anyway, the article is about the same comments that Trump made. It was safe to assume that a few here might respond in the same way. Big deal. If no one posted in that way, my point would be dead in the water and I'd be wrong in this thread. So far, I've only been responding to replies to elaborate on my post and defend my pov.
