Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Nintendo Switch is no better than the Wii

third-parties Just start to realase their games can found a place on switch...
Panic buttons say a lots third-parties ask port on switch... AAA games need 1 years at least to be port...
And i don't think compare wii and switch have any sense... Wii was an home console with New contrôler, switch is hybride, it's the futur of gaming.

It is a good thing if Switch’s launch can be comparable to the Wii’s. That’s FAR from a doomsday scenario. Keep in mind, Wii did 24M+ sales in its second full year. No other home console has ever sold that many in a year.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

...Essentially Switch acts a successor to and combines the software support of Wii U, 3DS and Vita into a single device which gives it alot of appeal...

This is all I could ask for:

-Quirky mid-level Vita stuff like Disgaea, Katamari, Monkey Ball, Fortune Street, Ys VIII, Dragon Quest Builders, tons of RPGs, etc.

-Charming 3DS games like Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Chibi Robo, Etrian Odyssey, RPG Maker, etc.

-Core Wii U titles like Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Pikmin, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, etc.

As you can see, a good bit of this has already been announced or released on Nintendo Switch, and I am just happy as a plum with the way this library is blossoming out.

:D

There have been some good ports compared to Wii.

Lets hope more games get announced soon. The wait is annoying lol.

In other words, normal support for a console in its first year.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Since the Switch doesn't have Wii Music on it (yet), it's automatically better than the Wii!

Nintendo has struggled with third-party support since 1996. It only got worse once they decided to remain a generation behind in terms of power. This will remain an issue until Nintendo designs a system that is on par with contemporary PlayStation & Xbox systems, and since I doubt they'll ever make a powerful, conventional console again, they'll never get close to having the level of third-party support Sony & MS get.

Thats why we should look at Switch like the successor to Wii U, 3DS & Vita.

I can feel it men. But many develeopers just realized the potential of the switch (to make numbers) so we are still early to make such statements and as far as i know wii lost games because it wasnt that big with the 'hardcore' gamers and with the switch we dont know official numbers from the west yet but personally i think it has potential it already has built its image with adults using the system so we still have to see how it does...

But what really distress me a little bit is that the console has potential for creating unique experiences like gal metal! or Labo but there really isnt such interest to make games tailored for the switch in those times where you can get more money porting and the switch is very amicable to develeopers so...are really double edge sword kind of thing in one hand you got more support because is cheaper to port but in the other you get less exclusives cause is easy to port to other consoles as well. Even from japan it looks like we wont be getting to much exclusive content because easy to port making a little bit more of money with ps4 vashion.

But as i said is still early to make such statements when the switch was recently acknowledge by develeopers so time will say...

solo se hablar español
