Glad to see this opinion has been growing in popularity over time. Playing Second Son after the first two inFamous games really makes you realize how much got lost in the PS3-PS4 transition. At the very least, First Light brings some of the inFamous back to the series! Plus it was kind of a breath of fresh air to skip out on Karma entirely for FL - I wouldn't completely mind if an inFamous 4 did the same, if they can't grey in the black and white a little bit.

At the same time, I don't really expect to see another inFamous game.

I think Fetch also just has a really cool power loadout. Everything is just straight up fun and more fleshed out than any of Delsins powers I feel.

Its too bad we probably wont but I wouldnt mind at least one final game.

Cole vs Delsin (then they dont need to do karma, Cole is hero path and Delsin is villain path)

I'd love for a fourth game to go that route, absolutely! And as for Fetch's Neon, absolutely agreed too. Delsin four 1/3 baked powers, Fetch at least had one full one!

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

First light is superior to second son in every way tbh

Need more of Fetch haha

That is absolutely not true. Second Son had a much better story.

I like those games. The karma system is a little too stereotypical and black/white. It rewards being the extreme of either side but not if you play more naturally. I hope that in future games, they use a vastly more nuanced system on morality.

I don't understand why people say that man. xD

I mean, they're both great, but inFamous: Second Son is a lot longer and features other powers. So for me it's like:

SS: Longer, more story (but shallow sometimes) and more diverse, but less power development and gameplay mechanics.

FL: Shorter and less diverse, but deeper gameplay mechanics, more power development and a cooler character.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

All I want from another inFAMOUS (if we ever get one, which I unfortunately doubt) is inFAMOUS 3, set after 2's evil ending. It would be set in a world where conduits and normal human beings are at an all out war as the conduits, with Cole as their leader, advance from the US east coast towards the west coast as Cole cures inactivate Conduits from the plague as normal humans simply die out in the process. The game could be set in a city like Dallas the moment the Conduits arrive. The moment the game starts the city isn't damaged, although it's heavily militarized to try and stop the Conduit advance. As the game progresses you (Cole) and your Conduit allies slowly take control of the city, causing human life to disappear and the city to get more damaged by the day.

Both SS and FL were great.

My natural play goes more than 3/4 good meter.

I bounce around from good or evil because of the karma I get from certain quests or points in the game. By the end, I'm evil. 🙀

It's so odd to me to hear people say that Infamous First Light is amazing. It's honestly become like a cult classic in it's own right, the way you here about it it's almost like fans consider it the best in the series. I find it odd because I've only played Second Son and First Light, but First Light was way worse. From what I remember, it's story was really cringy try-hard bullshit to explain the backstory of the character, it's campaign was pretty short, and it's horde mode was boring. I think I might have to revisit it though, because clearly something was wrong with me. I might have rushed the standalone a bit.

Perhaps people that played the previous Infamous though SS is just a repetition of the previous and FL is something fresh, and since you just played both you didn't had the burn from the previous one.
