I haven't gotten to play the updated version yet, but I wasn't very fond of it back in Splatoon 1.

Splat zones on Camp Triggerfish is literally the worst thing ever in matchmaking. Playing it without voice chat and a coordinated team is basically impossible because your whole team really has to be working together on that one or you're screwed.

Yeah its really hard. I usually just camp from one of the high locations with a long ranged weapon or the gold roller.  

 

Edit: oops I mean behind the walls and go on top of the rails. You can easily hop off and hop back on if an enemy team focuses on you

Interesting that Nintendo is doing something like this. Hopefully we get more in the future. And I wonder if we will get 3 different shifty stations/splatfest stages. And hopefully they are TMNT inspired

OK so the official site kind of sucks, I had to go to IGN to find this out about the upcoming splatfest:

The first round of voting on the weekend of May 4 will pit Leonardo against Raphael. The following weekend of May 11 will see Donatello face off against Michelangelo, with the finalists duking it out on the weekend of May 18.

 

As with every Splatfest, players can head to Inkopolis Square to cast their vote. Once they've picked a side, they'll nab themselves a snazzy t-shirt emblazoned with their Turtle of choice to wear in the subsequent Turf War battle.

I noticed the official site was also late to the party when it came to posting their updates the last couple of times ...
