I’m sure it outsold it launches aligned, which this statement is about. Hardcore XBoxers were much more desperate to upgrade and the number of 4K TVs in the US has risen during that additional year. According to Amazon at least that launch boost didn’t hold up though, so I would be very surprised if this keeps up during 2018.

I think its because they had PS4 undertracked and adjusted their algorithms, thats what i remember reading.

I agree, while Ps4/pro are both great options, both run things nicely, some games just run poorly on the ogx1/x1s, so much that 1X is becoming the only xbox whit value, "the console that runs things better". I mean, while the X1S can't keep up whit standard ps4,  since both are at the same price, but ps4 got more power and exclusives, the 1X at least have power advantage over PRO.

Yea but it seems to be only selling to already xbox owners only. Why its game sales is down yoy. So its not really attracting anybody, just selling to the people it was going to sell to anyways. That pool will dry very soon. If it dint already.

That's only in the US though, Sony doomed in US market, still survived the crash outside

Seriously XBX selling better than pro in the US maybe was the only target Microsoft was after, 35 millions is less than half the PS4 numbers, compared to 360, I don't think they will match it either

This has only been true for the holidays/launch period anyway. Actual sales are looking different already.

So OP is basically "take the win you can get"... so the only win X1 can claim is that it is outselling PS4Pro launch aligned globally in USA.
