Kirby has sold over 3 million on only 1 occasion and that was the first game which released almost 26 years ago.

True, hence why I think 2-3m is the most likely outcome.

But a lot of Switch software is selling markedly better than games of its series usually do, and this is the HD debut for mainline Kirby, both of which I think will boost sales.

I dont really see either of those things being factors for Kirby though.

BotW & Odyssey are pushing their franchises to heights by by being ambitious games and redefining their gameplay which isnt something Star Allies is doing for Kirby.

Also i dont imagine a whole bunch of people who werent Kirby fans all of a sudden being interested in it because of HD.

But yeah i agree it should do 2-3 million.

Not all the games selling better on Switch pushed their franchise, Switch simply seems to be a healthier, more fertile software ecosystem than most other Nintendo platforms.
