His posts are comedically over-dramatic. It also makes no sense that someone who hates a game would play it to 100%; that would be incredibly foolish because the game is MASSIVE!

I fucking love the game, have finished normal and (almost finished) hard mode, and even I haven’t attempted 100% despite my 330 hours recorded. A 100% run is a feat you’d only expect from people who like the game even more than I do.

Seeing as I've never played the Witcher 3, you seem to be dealing in alternative facts, Kellyanne!

I loved this game, until the same, stupid mechanics kept coming up over and over and over. When I was searching forever for the 120th shrine, only to find that they decided to put only one in a dungeon...the final dungeon, I was flabbergasted. It feels like ages ago, when I first saw the overlook (after you exit the Resurrection Shrine) and told my brother, "this game is beautiful." It is still a work of art, but I can't overlook mistakes that even Destiny 2 doesn't make and are nonsensical for Nintendo to make. The only thing I probably won't do is the seeds, because I actually enjoy the quests and fighting, in spite of the lack of commensurate rewards and repetitive stupidity.

That's the thing with Zelda games. No story. And with no story, how can you feel compelled to care about what you're doing and reach the GRAND finale when there won't even be one?

See? I don't care what anyone else says but for me in this day and age, story is almost as important as gameplay. I'd say it's like 55%/45% A game can be sooooo much more fun if you're having fun playing yet at the same time wondering what will happen moving forward with the story.
The Last of Us, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Unchartd. MGS, Final Fantasy....you name it. These games are prime examples.

In order to find the story of The Last Guardian impactful you have to connect the gameplay of every moment with the overarching theme, and that's kind of the same as Zelda. Both require the player to contribute to the willingness to find a story in what is mostly a storyless game. 

It's a little bit different though because the theme of the Last Guardian is apparent enough to make it seem like it has a good "story", whereas Zelda just has a story with extremely basic themes. If you want to say that the Last Guardian wipes the floor with Zelda because of it's overreaching theme, than sure, that might work. But then again, Majora's Mask wipes the floor with The Last Guardian in every conceivable department. 

Also, Prince of Persia and Silent Hill are not examples of games in "this day and age".
