Noo,never.
Not with ff15 and not with dq11.
That's a really good second week for MH! Mario + Rabbids seems to be doing well and I'm glad to see some legs for ARMS and Xenoblade 2.
That's a very good 2nd week for MHW. Usually, sales drop 80%-85% in the 2nd week, but it managed to drop by 'only' 72%.
Damn, two weeks in a row for PS4. If MHW continues to sell well, it might continue for a few weeks.
Graet hold for PS4 and MHW. So so debut for DBZ Fighters. The game should be on Switch. Even a late port should outsell the PS4 version if it performs like Xenoblade 2. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the last remaining huge 3rd party games for PS4 in Japan on the horizon are KH3 (tjis year I hope) and FF7 R.

GTA 6 will be big.
Looks like ps4 canabalizing everything else this week. That Doom and gloom during q4 last year in Japan was the most obsurd thing ever. As I always said, ps4 sells according to the software it has releasing. Overall 2016 and 2017 were very impressive years hardware wise. 2018 as a whole is looking solid too.
Massive second week for mhw and ps4 hardware mighty impressive too. With digital I'd well believe the ps4 has it's first 2m seller in Japan.
Now Sony were really smart not to drop the price. People were panicking and calling for a drop during the holidays. Not only would have December sales have been less profitable but the huge sales in January would have brought them way less revenue too. When sales slow later this year drop the price then. Smart business from Sony as usual.
