Not really. The publisher (and IP owner) CI Games announced that a sequel is planned. But they didn't hire Deck13 to develop it.
In the meantime Deck13 already developed and relased a new game and LOFTF2 is nowhere to be seen.

Fair enough. I still think it may be a way to give The Surge more attention though. I guess we will find out soon enough since its slated for release next year already.

Being cynical? I was being serious! : P I consider that a very optimistic thing for me to say ... as someone who is usually pessimistic on this forum. I genuinely think there's a good likeliness of seeing Prey 2

Hmmm ... I don't know if you guys interpreted my comment as a knock on the Surge  or as pocking fun of Prey's sales, but in either case that's not what I was doing. I was being serious. I agree that it's amazing they can make a sequel, and actually I'm glad they can.
