Ah, yeah, gave you an example, in the other post...

For future reference, here's a fairly decent resource, to start off with:

 https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/system/App/Settings/poster_image_highs/000/000/001/original/FallaciesPosterHigherRes.jpg

Look at the fallacy fallacy though.

I never said that what he was wrong. I specifically stated that the cause could be interesting, but the argumentation needs to be redone from scratch.

I wouldn't eat my cat or dog, but I sure as hell would eat other people's pets. This is just one of the funny arbitrary distinctions humans make that has zero rationality behind it. I mean lambs and veal are cute, but god damn, are they tasty.

Stop being hypocritical and just say that you don't like to harm cute things instead of claiming that some things are food and some are not as if there was any kind of logic behind it.

Nobody ever said they shouldn't be harmed cause they're cute. Show me where I said that. And I will quit!

You didn't say it but I cannot think of any other reason why you would draw that weird line.

What's the difference between a harmless and innocent baby seal being beaten to death and a harmless innocent baby cow being beaten to death? Oh, let me guess. The difference is because you say so.

I mean, have you ever eaten seal? If not... then your argument holds no water.

Ad hominem, sort of? Certainly a dubious conclusion. You're advocating for anecdotal evidence.

Would that not be a fallacy of the single cause? He assumes that the only thing that can hold up the argument is the fact that he should have eaten seal meat, while he could've arrived at the outcome through various other sources.

Might be completely wrong though, I need to brush up on my fallacies.

I don't think that the hunting of seals should be banned but the commercial hunting should be heavily regulated to prevent over hunting at the very least.

Thanks... I'm a boy though, but it's okay... It's 2018 and we still make mistakes like this. Males and stand up for women's rights too. You are genuine. Thank you.

Or maybe all those just dont taste as good.

Or maybe cause most of us have hearts and some people just don't.

Some say the heart is the best part.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

I apologize, checked your profile, but was too late. I suppose, I have a tendency to natural associate the traits of profile pics to the person. Probably would be good to work on that, at some point.

So then why draw conclusions? That's rude and not nice.

Because seals are animals that need more rights, and it isn't fair. We just don't run up to cows on their home tuft, seal their children, and club them to death while they are playing on the ice. It's sick!

Apparently they don't serve it at McDonalds or his/her local restaurant so its wrong, makes me wonder if a restaurant round where he/she is does start serving it does that mean his/her stance changes.

I hypotesised earlier about seals that could be domesticated and bred for slaughter, and you still said that they shouldn't be killed. Vivster is right, you're just drawing arbitary lines by your own personal standards.
