This is really good news. I think the Switch has a lot more "close to a million" games than we think ! I think Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Rocket League and Skyrim might be really close.

This game seems to be popular through digital. I wonder if it will reach 2-3m if it even reaches 9,99€ on the eShop.

This is really positive news. It's all about growth and investing in the audience of the Switch. It helps Nintendo to finally normalize their third party relationship and image.

I was thinking that the retail sales for the game in US+Japan < 400k combined, thanks to what we know from NPD and some third-party numbers in Japan that was posted a while ago.

I just find it hard to believe that digital sales and retail sales for Europe+RoW would tip the scales that heavily, though it is plausible.

If it is an official Sega channel announcing that, I am not gonna question. But during launch the game was really popular around Nintendo community, and we can't judge how well it was doing digital because at that time Nintendo wasn't sharing the eShop charts yet.
