Forums - Gaming Discussion - What Are Your Best Video Game Bargain Finds?

I guess Enslaved Odyssey to the West for 1 usd in Humble Bundle last year, techincally it was 33 cents cos there were some other two shitty games.

My Etsy store

My Ebay store

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Three years ago, I was considering buying a Zelda game (for the first time). Then I saw that Pokémon ORAS owners could get a free game in the eShop. I chose A Link Between Worlds. It's still my absolute favorite video game.

I also could have bought the Metroid Prime Trilogy for £3 two years ago, but I didn't because I don't like the Wii. Now I kind of regret that.

Mass Effect 2 and 3 for $5 each and only about a year after release for both of them

Can't beat Gears of War 1 for X360 for 99 cents.

I have a few that come to mind. I once bought a Gamecube controller lot, sold as-is. Four controllers (three official Nintendo, one third party), got them for $30. This is right during the Smash 4 rush where GC controllers jumped in price too. I expected maybe one to work and that I could Frankenstein another, but every single one works as if it's brand new, they're all clean, absolutely amazing deal!

Another time, at a pawn shop I found Ratchet & Clank 1 CiB for $5, with the now seemingly hard to find poster included as well!

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

The bolt avatar makes perfect sense now.

A couple of years ago the main local grocery store decided they had enough of carrying the Vita.

I got a PSTV, a Sony official charge cable,a Sony official dock, a Sony official recharge pack, and ten games (Earth Defense Force 2, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Assassin's Creed Liberation, God of War collection, Borderlands 2, Killzone Mercenary, Persona 4 Golden, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tearaway, and Lumines) all brand new, sealed, for $60

Ha! Yep, that's the short of it, at least indirectly! It's actually the logo I use for my YouTube channel, wherein the scoring system for my reviews is based on different Bolts. The Bolt part obviously came from Ratchet lol, it was a unique way to pay homage to my favorite franchise.

Red Faction: Guerrilla for 4€, great value for that price.

Got an original xbox off freecycle. The person was just round the corner from my house. Came with 2 controllers and half a dozen games. Was very lightly used probably because the games included were some of the worst xbox games I remember. All aimed at young children or dance related.
