While i don't see Switch winning, i'm sure results will be closer than what people expect.

I vote for the 7-8 million range.

The only way it ends up close is if Nintendo suddenly has no stock issues, and lower prices abit (~250$).
Honestly dont think either will happend.

Or Labo has a similar effect as Wii Fit did in 2008.

The switch doesn't need a price cut.. they don't even have a total control on supplies yet.

To me, it's just that Switch doesn't have the games (currently announced) to be that big. But if we get Smash and Animal crossing during Fall, a Mario game for the holidays and Labo being a success, it's totally possible.

But I don't expect Switch to reach such a peak yet. I feel like Switch will climb more slowly but last longer.

An extremely tall order

it will reach 8 million easily if Pokemon is released this year

Wii Fit, Brawl, and MKWii all released in the same year? Sheesh.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

2008 was a banger year for the Wii, and sales showed that.

March: Smash Bros. Brawl
April: Mario Kart Wii
May: Wii Fit
November: Animal Crossing: City Folk
