Oh dang! When was the last time any SKU have passed both Switch SKU? November?

December. The PS4 Battlefront bundle passed both SKUs for a very short amount of time when it was on sale for $250.

Looking at some of my physical media and wondering if I can digitize it somehow so that I can get rid of it and free up some space.

I know, right? I doesn't make sense. This year will be close anyway... it's like people are not satisfacted having their favorite console performing well, they also need to see others fail. It's sad really.

You seriusly need to understand how Benji statements are.

He has a part of data for the US market, a data which is way smaller than NPD. Every time, he can not say for sure if a console won a month, that's why he is always catious with his comments.

In November, his data showed that PS4 and XB1 were way head of Switch, yet he still wanted to say Switch had a chance, for the simple fact that he know his data does not represents all market.

Same happen in December, he never said PS4 or XB1 had no chances.

Now, if he is saying that XB1 could "POSSIBLY" wins February, this mean absolutely nothing. He didn't even used words like "likely", "probabily", but possibly, in others words, he didn't even said his data show an XB1 victory.

What he said is that Switch is not doing much better than the others consoles which can suggest a big Switch victory, for what we know, his data could still show a Switch victory (even if small), in any case, the main point is:

Can we really get so much about a "possibly" XB1 victory, when Benji also said Switch could have possibly won December and PS4 could have won December?

No, i mean , XB1 can win February, of course he can, but we knew this even before Benji comment. Now, it would have been interesting if he would have said: "XB1 will likely win February", but if he only said that is "possible" for XB1 to win, then yeah... pretty much nothing to discuss, since "possibly" could be just as possibly as Switch winning November or PS4 winning December.

Conclusion: I'm not diminish Benji as a source, as you did in the past, what i'm saying is that his last dichiaration really does not tell much to us. He said that Switch is not doing much better than the others consoles and that XB1 has a chance of winning the month, something that, after January results, was already clear.

Wait. Why are people saying that Switch and PS4 are about even worldwide? That is not even remotely true.

Pretty much this. I wonder if Nintendo will up their game in March and especially April which is the launch month of Labo and the start of a new fiscal year.
