I think to many are waiting for that ps4 price drop. God of War should spice things up, but until E3 when its finally dropped, I see it tuff. But I still think it will be up yoy.

Did Sony announce anything like that? Or are you just assuming they will drop the price then?

Did you really had to ask? That's an obvious assumption.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Around the Network

Week 13 (March 31st) numbers have been added.

The Xbox One and Nintendo Switch added to their leads, while the PS4 continues to fall further behind last year.

God of War is going to reverse the trend. If not RDR2 and Spiderman bundles accompanied by 2 Spiderman movies we're looking at record holiday numbers.

Unless the PS4 is undertracked, I doubt it. PS4 had a higher baseline, and even Monster Hunter World couldn't keep the sales high enough to compete with last year. I fear both RDR2 and Spiderman will do the same, bulge the sales upwards, but not enough for the baseline to get raised to last year's level.

PS4 Adjustments have been made. 2017 is still ahead buy over 100k, but that's the biggest lead it has vs. 2018's biggest lead being close to 200k.

Around the Network

Week 14, April 7th, numbers have been added. All 3 systems experienced a drop from last week, but the rest of the narrative remains the same.
2018 PS4 falls further behind 2017. Though, you can certainly expect 2017's lead to completely vanish once Week 16 numbers hit (God of War week).

2018 Xbox One and Switch continue to increase their leads over their 2017 counterparts. From the looks of it, the Xbox One's lead will continue to grow and grow and grow. An encouraging sign for Microsoft.
As for Nintendo, depending on releases, we may see a little bit of back and forth between 2017 and 2018. Week 17 numbers should favor 2017, since that was when Mario Kart came out. However, the trend should favor 2018 for the most part.

Nintendo drops pretty low after Goldenweek, Switch should dig quite some lead there this year apart from Splatoon 2 release week and up to SMO release.

Are there any adjustments to the sales figures?

The usual trend is that Abril-June are the slowest months of the year for all platforms, but I'm guessing that is not gonna happen for the PS4 this year with the GoW effect.  It will be interesting to see how the X1 and Switch hold up.

With so much positive news about Labo on mainstream news outlets ( gaming and non-gaming related ones) around the world, I'm pretty sure Labo will catch on pretty well with parents. While I don't see sales spike like what should happen with GoW, I do think it will help well to sell Switch consoles throughout the year and especially for the holiday season. In other words, I don't think Switch will dip far down .

Week 15 Numbers have been added, as well as the latest hardware adjustments.

Unfortunately, all 3 systems have been adjusted down for 2018, but it shouldn't have a long term effect on sales as all 3 should continue down their respective trajected paths.

The Next Hardware Update is going to be a BIG one.
