Forums - Sales Discussion - Japan sales (Week 4): Media Create/Famitsu/Dengeki - January 22-28, 2018 (Monster Hunter World Week)

must be a lot of salt among the group of nintendo fans that were sure MH World would bomb (or were at least desperate for it to). That franchise isn't sticking to Nintendo anymore that's for sure

That's pretty incredible for Monster Hunter!

Zelda legs makes me happy!

Mhw sold 1.25m in just 2days. I'm expecting at least 200k next week

Wow! 10/20 are switch's games!!
Switch increased over last Week despite its sold out!
And well done FIFA 18 outseling the other version and being the first and most selling FIFA on a Nintendo's Platform and, on JAPAN! wooow!!!

And I'm feeling M+R will be a sleeper hit there too!

I imagine they would go back to familiar model (the one they use to do) of doing handheld version for Japan and doing console version, interchangeably, however I do not see them putting that many resources into handheld version.

Where's the rest of those 2m?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Those PS4 hardware sales should have been much higher imo.

If they do that is how will they do and market it?
Will it be the same asset they use for MHW or the same vein as MHX?
If the same vein as MHW then better be multi-plat. If MHX then then how will they market it for the west? Will they close a deal for Nintendo?
I think Capcom is already thinking of MHX switch and not MHW.
World will be the new mainline and Generation is the spin off.
It will be interesting how Capcom will do for MH in the future but I am not fond of an exclusive MH. I would rather it be multi-plat.

Sadly I think it will be more like monster Hunter x just touched up.
