Microsoft and EA would be a perfect marriage. Fingers crossed. No sarcasm. That one excites me.

Why though?  FIFA is too big to be made console exclusive, it would hurt sales too much.

I'm praying for the rise of a black moon.

These polygon writers are all fucking morons. Holy shit this site is the biggest joke in gaming...

Kotaku is pretty close though

i'm so bored of hearing every year about the companies that MS might try and buy (EA is the most ridiculous i've heard yet, as if MS are going to spend over $30B when a load of the shareholders don't even like or care for Xbox anyway)

i know having all that money means you can take the easy option time after time, but it doesn't mean you have to.make some of your own shit for a change, you might like it

FIFA probably wouldnt allow it.They would pull the licence out of EA and just give it to another developer.

To be fair though the FIFA licence means very little. It's really just the FIFA name they get from that.

It's the individual league/club licences that are much more important.

Well yes, but dosent FIFA administrates them?Or rather, if you have FIFAs permission, you dont have to go to every single club in the world asking permission, for every single time you make a game about football?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Games "journalism" is literally the lowest of the low. Worse than British tabloids.

No it doesn't work like that, otherwise PES would expensive to make.

Microsoft buying EA would be so perfect.

There are still professional sites/magazines worth a read like EDGE or Game Informer. Polygon are hipster scum and the worst of the worst, even worse than all those wannabe "jounalist" blog writers these days.

So EA really needs to ask permission from everyy single club in the world individually? What a pain
