Finally something to hold that doesn't look like a fallic object with a clown nose on it.

Because you care so much for how it’s looks when you’re wearing the headset. You sound insecure about your sexuality....

I kid, I kid.

I care about not looking ridiculous with those awful move controllers that got tagged on for PSVR because of surplus. Time for better, more serious controllers.

Not sure I can take that statement serious with that avatar of yours.

Lol. What's wrong with my avatar? Are we going to have an oversensitive PSVR argument again?

No man, I was just joking about you caring about looking ridiculous, but at the same time having an avatar who looks....yeah, like that.

Chill out, you’re right...we need new controllers, but it seems those won’t be it, at least not for PS4.

I couldn’t care less for how the Moves look though. It’s the analog stick that is missing.

That's the beauty of VR games: in-game the controllers can look like anything.

In some games they keep the shape of the actual controllers, but they look much more awesome. For example, in "The Invisible Hours" their material looks like brass & mahagoni and they added a little clock:

In other games, they have very cool color designs; sometimes with animations or lighting effects:

My avatar makes me look ridiculous? Ok. It's from a game called Metal Max Xeno for the PS4 and the artist is Oda-Non. Everyone else likes it (since I get PM for it all the time).

My money is on a revision of PSVR. It needs it.

Damn, I really want to play that game. Heard good things about it and already loved the time mechanics in Batman Arkham VR.

News about those patents is a few weeks old already. What I find more interesting, is the details of those patents now revealed...The controllers include finger tracking and are tracked by the actual headset, which makes one assume they will be mated with an inside out tracking headset, namely PSVR2...Which also sadly, at least most likely, confirmes, they won't be happening for PS4 and PSVR1 anymore. The lack of tracking lights also give that away.

how do u know there are no tracking lights. have you seen the DS4? its not like there is a lollypop like lighted ball on that thing.....

What? Innovation which actually is smart and without card Box?? Dare you Sony.

No, there is one trapezoid looking one on the front. How many of those do you see in the patent?! Have you actually read the article?!

Why would Sony continue using an obviously flawed and highly criticised tracking method in the first place?!
