A big leap over 7th gen. Look at Doom and any other game on the 360 or PS3. No amount of Cell™ infinite power meme magic can do that.

Doom is SUB hd, and a very unstable 30fps. its looks last gen on switch. anyway i would say switch is lastgen but at 1080p so far, but 1080p is a big difference.

Doom is HD docked and only dynamically goes sub HD. Same for the 30fps. It dips only for a few moments during heavy combat. Besides, Xbox One had many of these issues with these gens games. This is a non-issue and nice try. The PS3 and Xbox 360 cannot run Doom.

according to DF it always running below 30fps in intense battles, and mostly runs at 600p. i'm not saying ps3/360 can run it, but they have better looking games.

I would say definitely and obviously better than last gen but still not current gen. The PS3 or 360 would shit itself if it tried to run Xenoblade but the switch would explode if it tried to run horizon

You cherrypick DF (predictable) videos/articles for your own liking. It dips a few times during intense battles, but it's mostly stable 30fps. The resolution is dynamic and does not run at 600p all the time at all. Besides, this is the method they use to determine resolution https://youtu.be/3ra-P3gH7Dg Something they are getting sued for too.

Now answer my question, can the PS3/360 run it. Simple yes or no.

Sorry ill take DF word over some random dude on the internet, they seem trust worthy and reliable to me. I think 360/ps3 might at 380p, depends how skilled the developer is. with panic button doing the port and with there budget, NO.

How do we have any idea if it could run it or not, it's never been attempted? With the right concessions, just like the Switch version had to make certain concessions, I'm sure it could run.

I love my Switch, it's design is incredible. LOVE it. Playing VC2 and love being able to play docked and mobile. All that being said, I don't think the Switch version of the Last of Us or Uncharted 3 would look as good on Switch as it did on PS3. But obviously we'll never be able to compare.

switch js a good deal more powerful then ps3/360 GPU wise, not sure about CPU but they seem very close, although switch is much easier to work with while i think a developer with huge budget can get a bit more from 360/ps3.

Hey man, not getting worked up about it. Just wanted a straight honest answer from you for once. I'm not going to argue what is factual, and enter the domain of the ridiculous. Down the road someone might get banned over something stupid like that. And if we compare track records, you might not want that... kid. Just stop and move on.

They could run Doom. But that would basically be a new build. From the ground up. But as is, they cannot run Doom 2016.
