Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Kodi on Xbox One: have you tried it?

So I'm late to the party but yesterday, I was screwing around on my Xbox One and discovered the Kodi app in the marketplace. I'd heard about Kodi for a long time and decided to get it.

About fifteen minutes later, I had access to all if the movies, TV shows, etc (translation: porn) I could ever hope for. Much better than using the browser as my favorite streaming sites are full of pop ups, now.

Have you tried it? Do you want to try it? What are your thoughts?

Used to use Kodi a ton for sports (using SportsDevil) but the plugin eventually stopped working so I haven't used it in months. If they could ever streamline the whole depository to plugin process it'd be fantastic. I've only used PC and Android versions.

What plugin did you use. I stopped trying to get it working because so many of the plugins have stopped working.

I've got it on my Android x86 HTPC. It's nothing special, really.

Copied this guy's instructions. He's using "Covenant"

I just watched that vid. some of the movies don't seem to be correctly listed but still it works! Might replace my raspberry pi for media content.

No actually... I have to try it though.

Yeah. I tried to watch Proud Mary and wound up watching (and enjoying) some movie called Mary and Max. Another time I tried to watch Black Panther and Pink Panther popped up.

80% of the time I get what I'm looking for, though.

Wow, this app is amazing. How is this legal?

GearsTV works like a charm. Covenaant works decent. There's a setting for subscribers of Covenant that is not working with this version of Kodi that if they ever get around would make it superior.
