The game isn't any worse than Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey, so price shouldn't make people hold off. Whether it will cost $50 or $60, it's a must-buy for anyone who missed it on Wii U.

Tropical Frezze is not even as good as the most boring shrine in BotW, let alone in the same ballpark to the whole game.

But Tropical Freeze is better than BotW.

Is expected, MK8 DX and Pokken is listed at full price

True but those games have significant more added to them then Tropical Freeze. The nearest comparison would be Bayonetta 2 which is also $60 but at least has the original Bayonetta game as a free download and Amiibo functions.

Wherefore, it's a new game for the overwhelming majority of gamers liking Nintendo games and Nintendo loves profit!
Even MK8D is at full price which is a port of something that sold x5 of what tropical freeze sold and sells like a brand new MK game.

Not in any reality or universe/multiverse.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Indeed, expensive.

Bayonetta 2 for Wii U came with the original game as well

60 USDs does seem to pricy for a port of an old game. I think 40 would be a more acceptable price.

Those games aren't years old ports.

Sure, but a truly good game will remain a good game forever, just like it is for movies and music. Paying for quality shouldn't be scoffed at.

Of course, anyone who considers the price too high is free to wait until the price drops to what they consider an appropriate level.

I don't think that expecting time to erode cost is a commentary on quality, and I don't think movies or music have ever been immune to that.

meh wouldn't rebuy if it was $10 while it was the first of the donkey kong country games I actually liked (second donkey kong if you include jungle beat) I really don't care for donkey kong at all

Because they think the switch userbase that didn't have it on wii u will consider it a new game and thus buy it at full price.
