You were right about everything , I was wrong.  The Resident Evil VR candle is the real deal.  I did some better research and found this.  It is amazing!!! be sure to watch until the end.  The Future is NOW.

Maybe, but most people just act like they arnt interested because they cant afford it. VR is a dream coming true for basically every gamer...yeah maybe not every, but most. 

It's not a maybe. It is a thing. There are 7+ billion people on this planet and it's clear that VR isn't loved by all 7+ billion people, let alone a good chunk of those that can afford it, let alone being interested in it.

It's not a dream come true for everyone. You seem to have this thing in your head, where you believe everyone objectively loves and wants VR and for everything to be VR related. 

This holiday I had a choice between a Nintendo Switch and PS VR.

I still don't own PSVR. Neither do over 95% of PS4 owners, many of which who chose to upgrade to a PS4 Pro, yet still do not own PSVR?

I still can't believe you're hinging on this cost thing when it's been clearly demonstrated that people regularly have $400 to spend on video game hardware and regularly choose to not spend it on VR.

I do own both, you made a mistake. The Switch is cool as well but not even close to VR.

I never made a mistake. I spent HOURS playing PSVR over a weekend to give it a proper evaluation and it didn't appeal to me.  It didn't make games more enjoyable. I prefer playing games in front of my TV.
