Chill out man, Switch is still not hole year on market and point that Switch is selling so great after worst selling Nintendo console is very interesting and good. :)

We even now have threads for PS4, but we had much more them in 1st and 2nd PS4 year.

I was responding in kind with the other guy.

I get the enthusiasm and wanting to talk about it but this many threads written as they are comes off as gloating and it invites a certain response. There's already reaction threads.

Thats not really the same. Like it could sell 10million in Japan, but then it only sells 2million in Europe. This allows us to see how it is doing in each region. Because peple have been saying "handhelds are dead" or "Switch is sooo outdated compare to PS4 and XB1 how can it compete"

A big change from the Wii U days, I'm proud of them for turning things around. Hope they can keep up the momentum.

Banned for posts like mine? 

I brought up Sony because he mentioned what people do with the pr news on these companies.

Great news. Hopefully it doesn't drop off like Wii did after a few years. Though I tend to think Switch will be more "fad proof" as it's got more of a universal appeal, portability, and a much more robust lineup of games at least when it comes to every area but some of the big Western AAA titles. And this too I think will improve somewhat. The steady stream of indies should keep things going somewhat, though the current lack of VC might offset this a bit.

Overall I think its sales curve will be more similar to DS/3DS.

We get official shipment numbers in less than 2 weeks.

 

Wii shipments after ~10 months (Sept 2007)-13.17 million

PS4 shipments after ~10 months (Sept 2014)-13.5 million

 

As of now, Nintendo refers to Switch as a home console in their PR statements and these are the two highest selling home consoles after 10 months, Switch is almost 100% ahead of both of them at this point.

In the US, 360 beat Wii though.
