I took a break from early this gen and recently came back. I own a One...4....and New3dsxl...love all of them.

Anyway...it really is shocking to see some of the quotes about MS potentially abandoning gaming....?....really???....

People have genuinely forgotton how aggressive MS can be in the gaming world. They mean business. I would even go as far as to say they might even be around longer than both Sony and Nintendo...hardware wise.

I need to make a thread about the general consensus of the One....but I don't post often and I don't feel like spamming

I really don't see them being around longer than Sony or Nintendo, as far as console hardware goes.  Their audience fell too greatly this gen.

It really has, hasn't it. Don't see many people talking about XBox anymore. It doesn't help that they had almost no exclusives this gen. I wonder if the people who bought XBox 360 weren't really loyal to the brand. I remember it was said about the original XBox (can't remember who) said that people only liked Halo and XBox Live. Well XBox Live isn't that special, Halo is mediocre and they haven't made a strong title to replace it. Imagine Nintendo but without Mario, Zelda or Pokemon. That's Microsoft right now. With how unprofitable the XBox project has been and the fact that Apple, not Sony, is Microsoft's biggest threat, I don't see them sticking around much longer.

I never hold high expectations for E3s. In saying that MS have had rather good consisted E3s showings and it was just last year they were voted by many to have held the best E3 out of the Trio.

Now that the X is out of the way and rumours of them making a big purchase of a major studio, i see a megaton happening. There hiding something big.

MS also house some of the most colourful and creative games in the industry thanks mainly to Rare. MS did a great job in resurrecting Killer Instinct arguable one of the best fighters this gen and its time to revive another great Rare IP.

I would love to see a Perfect Dark 2, Battle Toads, Banjo Threeie made by Playtonic and even a Snake Rattle n Roll game made by the creators of Snake Pass.

Hard not to get excited.

Their quarterly results say otherwise.

Maybe they will drop the price of the X one at E3

I think you will be right, or it will be a fancy bundle with an extra controller or games.

Xbox One X $399, calling it now.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

You have anything to back that up?

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Isn't E3 kinda late? It's great to have positive changed, but I wouldn't expect anything big showed at E3 to still be released in 2018.

Last time they decided to revive an old Rare IP they came up with Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, so I wouldn't be so excited for a new Battletoads game...
