Nintendo is doing well in Europe after all, they just need a price drop to blow up.

In announcing Nintendo Labo, Nintendo has provided a sales update for Switch in Germany. Thus far, the system has sold over 600,000 units. That’s better than any other Nintendo home console in the same period, meaning Switch has overtaken Wii.

Xbox isn't irrelevant in the UK, so multiplatform games are much more likely than in any other European country to push Nintendo games down in the software charts.

The last reference point we got for Switch sales in the UK is that Switch had sold more than the Xbox One in 2017; that was around September or October. At the moment VGC's estimates are too high for Germany, but that's probably because their estimates for the UK are too low.

We just had numbers for Odyssey..they were considerably lower in the UK compared to France and Germany.

That said, you might actually be right...The XBox’s strength is the Switch’s weakness and the other way around in other European countries. I was always saying that XBox was more competing with Switch from now on than Playstation in Europe.
